Nigel was fantastic. He was able to fit in an inspection for us at very short notice two days before the auction and arranged everything with the agent. He sent an extremely comprehensive building and pest report with photos and language that was easy for us to understand. He was also happy to chat through things over the phone and answered a number of questions so that we were comfortable bidding on—and buying—the house. We know there are some minor maintenance issues to address when we are ready but also that the house we bought is solid and in good overall condition. Worth every single cent and then some. On two separate occasions, Nigel has saved me many thousands of dollars in repairs of major building defects that were invisible on casual inspection. He went above and beyond to explain his inspection to me in detail. With my recent purchase, he supported me to advocate for works to be completed that the vendor's plumber was saying was fixed (when it wasn't) and on another his report enabled me to pull out of a contract when the defects found were too significant and costly and the vendor wouldn't negotiate on price.
