Great detailed reports with imagery references We recently purchased a property in country Daylesford and required building and pest inspections for the purchase. Nigel was recommended by a local real estate agent commenting “I would use Nigel when I purchase my own properties”. When mentioned to the agent selling our property, she commented “Nigel is a great inspector.” Inspections were conducted on time as scheduled and reports were delivered on the same day. Both reports were in great details with imagery references. Recommendations were covered for all parts of building, fencing and retaining walls in garden areas. Nigel contacted me while I was reading the reports to discuss and answer any questions we had. The reports gave us great confidence and comfort in purchasing the property. Worth every single cent and then some. On two separate occasions, Nigel has saved me many thousands of dollars in repairs of major building defects that were invisible on casual inspection. He went above and beyond to explain his inspection to me in detail. With my recent purchase, he supported me to advocate for works to be completed that the vendor's plumber was saying was fixed (when it wasn't) and on another his report enabled me to pull out of a contract when the defects found were too significant and costly and the vendor wouldn't negotiate on price. Nigel was fantastic. He was able to fit in an inspection for us at very short notice two days before the auction and arranged everything with the agent. He sent an extremely comprehensive building and pest report with photos and language that was easy for us to understand. He was also happy to chat through things over the phone and answered a number of questions so that we were comfortable bidding on—and buying—the house. We know there are some minor maintenance issues to address when we are ready but also that the house we bought is solid and in good overall condition. Excellent Service required a pest and building report and was recommended Nigel from the real estate agent . The report was completed very promptly , further to this the amount of detail and useful information in the report was great. He was able to point out many things that we had overlooked with our inspections of the property. My recommendation would be to get the report done before you sign any documents as often the contract states structural only as a way to void the contract , costs can quickly add up to repair even non structural. I had Nigel complete a building inspection on my property. From the very beginning Nigel was prompt and professional. He was able to inspect the property within a couple of days from my initial phone call. He was very thorough and professional with the inspection.
